About Me
General Information
My name is Rick Vasko and I completed my military service commitment defending our nation after almost 21 years of decorated Naval service. I love the United States of America and have continued to do everything I can to maintain national security and ensure that our children enjoy the same level of security throughout their lives. I have a bachelor degree in Computer Science and an MBA from TUI University. I have well over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field performing work as a network engineer, software engineer, software developer, IT project manager, knowledge manager and solution architect.Why am I performing work in the solar industry?
First, I am not doing this for the money. I have a good paying career in the IT industry and could do well in that capacity for the rest of my life. A few years ago I had a vision and developed a passion for trying to find ways to help the environment. Every day, I become more concerned about the condition of our environment and the rising cost of fuel, electricity, and other utilities. I continue to participate as much as possible in recycling and various renewable energy programs. Now, I want to do more to help improve the environment. In the past, I have considered upgrading my home to solar power but couldn't justify the cost and didn't have enough equity in my home to secure a loan. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't convince myself or others that solar power was a good overall investment. It is obviously good for the environment and has been proven to raise the value of your home but people have to receive some financial benefit to make it work. I have determined that the Citizenre model can work and if succesful will be able to bring renewable energy to a large portion of the population. If this program works, we will all benefit by lowering the amount of demand on fuel which will help the environment and help lower total fuel costs worldwide.I am a project manager
As a very experienced project manager, I have the necessary skills and abilities to help people obtain renewable energy products while helping them save money and improve the environment at the same time. This program is a win win situation for everyone. By helping other people make a difference, I will get the satisfaction of knowing that I am making a positive difference in the lives of others and the environment as a whole. If we can find a way to bring renewable energy products into the mainstream of America it will benefit everyone. I believe this product by Citizenre will help do just that.
